Number of population and share of Latvians in historical regions (experimental statistics)

Field descriptions:

Code – territory code;
Name_LV – territory name in Latvian;
Name_EN – territory name in English;
Year – Population and Housing Census data on 31 March 2000 and 1 March 2011, at the beginning of a year since 2016;
Total – total population;
LV – number of Latvians;
LV_pct – share of Latvians, %.

Data on ethnicity published only in territories with at least 50 inhabitants.

Data on territories located within historical regions given only for territorial units (cities, towns and rural territories) that are located within more than one historical region. Data on other territorial units are available in the table
RIG010.

Borders of historical regions are published at the Latvia's Open Data Portal.
