Regional climate indicators (in Latvian)

In 2023 the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia published datasets on Latvia's regional climate change indicators, which for the first time track GHG emissions from different sectors and the share of renewable energy in all regions and cities. National GHG inventories and energy statistics by municipality are an indispensable information resource for energy and climate change policy planning and monitoring. Regional climate indicators can be used to build individual GHG emission and energy system profiles of municipalities, as well as to compare the situations, priorities and development trends of different territories at both regional and national scales.
