Theatres and concert organisations

There are seven state professional theatres: Latvian National Theatre, Daile Theatre, The New Riga Theatre, Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian theatre, Latvia Puppet Theatre, Valmiera Drama Theatre, Daugavpils Theatre.

As well as six state-owned concert organisations Latvian National Symphony orchestra, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, State Choir Latvia, Kremerata Baltica, Latvijas koncerti, the Latvian National Opera.

Attendance per 1,000 inhabitants is calculated using the annual average number of independent residents in the country.
