Economic sentiment indicator

Economic Sentiment Indicator characterises general social economic situation in a defined period. For all Member States of the European Union it is calculated according to a uniform methodology, by the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, using the Business Survey data. These surveys are conducted by the CSB in accordance with the Joint Harmonised EU Programme of Business and Consumer Surveys, using funding of the European Commission.

Value exceeding 100 indicates that evaluation of economic situation exceeds the long-term mean value (2000–2021), whereas value below 100 indicates that economic situation is lower than the long-term mean value.
