Methodological information:

Information about tourism trips of resident travellers was collected by surveying 12 thousand private residences in 2024, that is one thousand each month. They were selected from a list of addresses using a two-stage sampling method. Data on the number of travellers and trips, duration of trip, and expenditures were produced by extrapolating the collected information to the average population of Latvia in 2024.
