Results of the 2001 agricultural census in Latvia

This collection of agricultural census data contains final summary data of the agricultural census 2001 conducted in Latvia on the number of the surveyed agricultural farms, land use, sown areas, number of livestock, machinery and equipment, infrastructure and employment of agricultural farms.

Data include farms with 1 ha or more of agriculture land alloted for agricultural purposes or where output for sale in the previous calendar year was worth more than 1000 lats. Data on number of farms, livestock, machinery and equipment, provision of farms with residential houses and other structures for agricultural production are published at the critical census moment - on 1 June 2001.
