Data description
The data provide information on the volume of produced seeds, seed units (hl and kg), planting material and parts of plants (mln. units) in breakdown by: forest tree species, category (place of provenance known, selected, advanced, superior).
Data on the produced forest reproductive material provide statistical information necessary for long-term planning of the forest resource management. The quality of the forest of the future depends to a large extent on the genetic quality of the reproductive material used for regeneration, so it is important that informed decisions are made when planning artificial regeneration or afforestation.
