Data description
Data on indices of service sector enterprise turnover are used in the evaluation of service sector development.
Services turnover is income from provision of services, excluding value added tax.

Statistical unit
The surveyed unit is a type of activity unit (enterprise or its part, which includes only one type of economic activity).
Statistical population
The general group consists of economically active companies and/or activity-type units, which are classified according to NACE Rev. 2. for division M75 “Veterinary activities”, division R90, R91, R92, R93 “Arts, entertainment and recreation” and division S95, S96 “Other services activities”

Data are obtained conducting sample survey and data are collected from CSB monthly questionnaires 3-turnover "Survey on Turnover". In addition to CSB report data for data imputation information from Value Added Tax declaration from State Revenue Service are used.
Data collection
The survey units are selected using simple stratified random sampling.
The stratification is based on two company-characteristic indicators: the company's net turnover and the company's type of activity according to NACE 2nd edition.
The sample is formed as an independent sample from other survey samples

Data compilation
Services production volume index is based on the chain index method; within the framework of it the average monthly turnover (at constant prices) previous year is used as a calculation basis and the value added by corresponding service sectors is used as weights. Indices are calculated in the form of non-adjusted, seasonally adjusted and calendar adjusted data.
