During the rest of the fieldwork, the respondents were consulted by the staff of the Interview Organization Department. In addition, an e-mail address veseliba@csb.gov.lv was created which respondents could use in order to ask the questions.

Data compilation
European Health Interview Survey is a sample survey and its data are generalized to the target population of the survey. In the process of generalization or data weighting, sample design weights are used, which are adjusted according to the proportion of respondents in the sample. Additional weights are calibrated by gender, and age group of the population (15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75+), region of residence, higher education level (ISCED 2011 levels (0-2, 3-4, 5-8)).
