Data collection
Monthly data are collected with the help of INTRASTAT sample survey, full-scope survey of customs declaration submitters, full-scope survey of monthly report 2-bunkering on supply of oil products to ships and airplanes.
Monthly data on import, export and consumption of oil products are operational and their total annual amounts may not be consistent with energy balance data.
Annual data are acquired by annually surveying 5 thousand respondents. Consumption of oil products in national economy is found out by surveying all state and local government enterprises of all sectors, regardless the number of employees, and by surveying other enterprises employing 80 and more persons. Data on companies employing less than 80 persons are acquired with the help of random sampling and afterwards extrapolating the acquired results.
Data compilation
The inland consumption of oil product is calculated: imports – exports – International Marine Bunkers + stock changes + interproduct transfers + statistical differences.
