Data on sown areas, harvested production and average yield of agricultural crops are obtained via sample survey using CSB questionnaire 2-LS "Crop production".
The estimates on sown areas and harvested yield of principal agricultural crops during the reference year are based on the evaluation of the Ministry of Agriculture and CSB experts using information of the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre SIA and Rural Support Service.
Data collection
Sample has been formed as stratified simple random sampling. Holdings are stratified by their location (NUTS 3), type of farming and economic size.

Data compilation
