Data on use of fertilizers and data on liming of soil are obtained by conducting a sample survey according to CSB statistical report form 2-ls "Crop production".
Data collection
Sample has been formed as stratified simple random sampling. Holdings are stratified by their location (NUTS 3), type of farming and economic size.

Data compilation
Extrapolation of the data on the surveyed holdings to all agricultural holdings is based on the number of similar holdings represented by sampled holdings as well as actual response rate in each of the survey territories.
