Data compilation
To obtain results on confidence indicators in services sector in the country in total, data provided by enterprises are weighted with the number of employees in the enterprise, as well as share of enterprise's sector in services sector in total is taken into account. Calculating total confidence indicators in services sector by enterprise size groups, share of enterprise's sector in services sector in total is not taken into account.
On each question of the survey breakdown of answers by variants is obtained which is expressed in per cent. From this breakdown net (balance) is calculated as difference among shares of the final answers. For the question with three variants of answers net (N) of answers is calculated according the following formula:
S = ( "+" ) – ( "–" ), where
("+") – share of positive answers ("increased", "above regular") as per cent;
("–") – share of negative answers ("decreased", "below regular") as per cent.
Using net gives opportunity to express answers of the question in one number, changes in answers to this question by periods form simple dynamics row.
