Statistics on the flow of wood resources, including production and foreign trade volumes for six groups of wood products:
- Industrial roundwood;
- Fuelwood;
- Charcoal;
- Wood chips, particles and residues;
- Wood pellets and other agglomerates;
- Wood, sawn or chipped lengthwise, sliced or peeled, of a thickness > 6 mm.

Data on the production and trade of wood products are compiled using the Joint Forest Sector Questionnaire (JFSQ) methodology and multiple data sources:
- Data on sales of manufactured industrial products in kind and in value terms (PRODCOM);
- Data on foreign trade in goods - export and import flows at the 8-digit level of the Combined Nomenclature, by country and by country group;
- Energy balance data on production, import, export and consumption of energy resources in the country.
